I searched for the Chrome subreddit and clicked on it and it opened the subreddit up in a new tab, the orignal reddit home page is still there on the initial tab, but the Chrome subreddit is now on a new tab. The same thing is happening on all websites. On that new tab I clicked on a video on my subscriptions page and it opened up a new tab with the video, so I had 3 youtube tabs open when it could just all be done on the same tab? For instance I went to Youtube, I cliked the subscriptions button and it opened my subscriptions in a new tab. If your Safari browser went bananas and keeps. Everytime I click on a link it opens up in a new tab. If you’re a Safari enjoyer, then here’s what you should do to stop Safari from opening new tabs automatically: Go to Safari Preferences Click the Tabs icon Check the Command-click opens a link in a new tab option Uncheck the When a new tab or window opens, make it active option.
